I like the fact that I can have control over my childrens usage, however I forgot my password and made a new one now I cant log in its says connection error. I get home and can login using router admin password. I also think it would be better to be able to change times other then never or always remotely. It is useless if I cant login. Bugs for sure. Other then the few issues if I configure before I leave for work its fine. But the whole idea is remote control....

Missing desktop features like setting parental control access times.

Using ipod or iphone apps i couldnt set up specific time in parental control. Only always or never can be picked. Once i set this through browser then i could see the specific time. Also missing some devices sometimes!

Useless app that cant even recognize that I am using their smart wifi enabled router (firmware up to date, connected by cable to mac)

Does the job

Setting the bandwidth priorities and controlling guest access is helpful, though there seems to be no way to change the guest access password. Also, the app frequently tells me the router is offline so it cant complete my task (though Im loading webpages on other devices at the same time), but after tapping retry a few times it eventually completes the task while still giving me error messages.

After much research I choose the Linksys EA6900 for what I believe is the best in class solution for parental controls. Knowing this unit and its "smart wi-fi" would give me the ability to remotely control my childrens access to the internet through my iphone was a great advantage. However I was dismayed that when using the app you do not have the same functionality as you would as if you were to sign in to the website via the browser. The main feature that is missing from this app is the ability to change the specific times that Internet access is blocked to individual devices. My only option currently is to always allow the device or never allow the device. Once I choose one of these options I lose all of the other scheduling rules that I have previously set-up. For example I get a call from my wife that my teenager is acting up or not doing his homework.I should be able to go in and instead of Internet shutting down at 10 for him I change it to block out the internet at the current time. Then I get a call that he is finished homework and then I restore his connection. The silly thing is all of these functions work via the website but if you try to access the website with your Iphone it says browser not supported, download app. And whats even stranger is I can access the website with my Ipad and I have full functionality. The number one reason I would think to even use this app would be to remotely control devices to the internet from outside your home and you just cant do that properly with this app.

Should be able to view log files.

Router is useless and constantly needs to be rebooted (about once a week). Then works fine for a while, app is crap and will not connect to the router most of the time ( says router is offline even though you are connecting through it to the internet! App features are poor at best. What a let down, just switched back to my old router after trying this for three weeks, what a let down for a expensive router.

As others note, this app is buggy and has limited functionality. Parental controls are particularly disappointing. It is reasonable to expect more than what this app delivers.

Functionality if this app isnt an issue. Thats because it has none. You cant access/edit router settings at all using this app. Try setting DNS with it. You cant even see your DNS settings. Router may be good. But interface prevents me from buying one so Ill never know.

I love this app. It is so convenient to manage my router and network with this.

Worst app ever, old version worked flawlessly, new one keeps saying no associated network!

It would be nice to see and adjust DHCP reservations through the app.

Havent had this app for long but I went through all the features. I made some minor adjustments to the network settings etc, and I must say it was very easy to do with this app. Much easier than logging in through the routers IP or using a disc. So far so good and cant think of a single hiccup in the app. Great UI too, its very easy to navigate and use. Anyone with a compatible Linksys router would benefit from having this app even if you dont plan on making many changes to your network. Its useful to see which devices are connected and the bandwidth prioritization feature is absolutely amazing and VERY easy to operate. Its easily my favourite feature of the app so far. All in all I recommend it for Linksys owners. It can be useful when needed, even if that is very seldom.

I like apps and things to completely work. Unlike the earlier version of this app it will not accept your username which has to be your email address. However you can enter via a backdoor that accepts only your password, you just have to look for the fine print to find it. Why primarily ask for a username that the programming wont accept. Why not skip to the chase and ask for just the password.

I would like to be able to edit specific time for my child device from this app. Right now I can only do it on my desk top, this app has only the function to block or unblock internet access, can not change the specific time. Other than that, this app is good.

Keeps telling me my router is offline when I try to login from a different location but when I log in VIA wifi from home computer everything is working. Please help or fix this issue. Did not do this the first time but I have issues with it now!! Other than remote issues its an ok app.

The worst piece of garbage I have ever tried to use will not connect and contacting customer service you talk for an hour and still get no where bye bye linksys AC3200 router back to netgear

Works well except 1. you cant do specific time blocks on the app, only on the computer 2. When you modify the parental controls away from a specific time, line always or none, you loose the specific time settings 3. You can block specific sites but I would like to block all sites and only give access to a select few.
